Issue No. 5,430 of the Electronic Official Gazette of the Municipality of Foz do Iguaçu records the dismissal and changes to appointed positions, as well as adjustments in the designations of civil servants in different municipal secretariats. Designations of professionals for pedagogical coordination roles in Municipal Early Childhood Education Centers (CMEIs) were also recorded, with the granting of a gratified function for the exercise of pedagogical coordination.
In the financial area, the Municipal Secretariat of Finance published Public Notice No. 125/2026 for the assessment of the fixed ISSQN for fiscal year 2026, with a list of taxpayers and amounts to be paid by the municipality’s service providers. The document sets deadlines and amounts for the collection of the municipal tax, used for the city’s fiscal revenue.
The Municipal Secretariat of Tourism also had a relevant publication, with the ratification of non-requirement of bidding for the institutional participation of Foz do Iguaçu in the TURISMALL 2026 event, held in Rio de Janeiro. The contracting of the company Carambola Publicidade Ltda., in the amount of R$ 80 mil, aims to promote the tourist destination and strengthen the city’s promotion at industry events.
In the cultural area, the Cultural Foundation of Foz do Iguaçu authorized direct contracting of artists for performances in the Cultural Corridor, including Brazilian and Latin American popular music shows, as part of the municipality’s cultural program. The contracts provide for performances with amounts ranging from R$ 490 to R$ 1.300.
The transit sector also records administrative decisions. The Foz do Iguaçu Transport and Transit Institute (Foztrans) published ordinances granting career progression to a civil servant in the traffic agent career, based on performance evaluation, as well as special leave to servants on the institute’s staff.
In the health area, the Municipal Health Foundation published an act of partial cancellation of a price registration for the acquisition of hospital supplies, after indications of contractual noncompliance by the supplier. With the cancellation, the remaining balance of the record was contracted with another company to ensure the continuity of hospital supply.
There are also acts related to the municipal pension system. Foz Previdência published an ordinance for the review of a retired servant’s contribution time, correcting the record to 36 years of contribution without changing the benefit amount or the modality of the granted retirement.
