🚦 Traffic
Direction change in Sítio Cercado
Starting at 11h this Tuesday (10/3), Rua Olívio Domingos Leonardi, in Sítio Cercado, will have one-way traffic from Rua Lupionópolis toward Rua Nova Aurora.
The change was defined by the Traffic Superintendency of the Municipal Department of Social Defense and Traffic (SMDT) to organize vehicle flow and increase the safety of drivers and pedestrians.
Traffic agents will be on site to guide drivers. If there is heavy rain, the change may be postponed.
New traffic lights in the city
Three new traffic lights begin operating this week in Curitiba, after technical studies by the Traffic Superintendency (Setran). The objective is to improve road safety and organize the flow at very busy intersections.
This Tuesday (10/3) the following will go into operation:
- 10h: intersection of Coronel João Alencar Guimarães and Frederico Muller streets, in Campo Comprido
- 15h: intersection of Rua Guararapes with Rua Professor Guido Straube, in Vila Izabel
On Wednesday (11/3) the traffic light will be activated at the intersection of Rua Celeste Tortato Gabardo with Rua Nova Esperança, in Sítio Cercado.
In the first days, traffic agents will guide drivers and pedestrians.
